LO: I can plot shapes with a specific area and perimeter. A fun and creative activity for children to practice what they know about area and perimeter by plotting furniture items on a grid, according to set values for area and perimeter. Example question: There are four speakers in the corners of the room with an area of 4cm² each. Choose a colour to represent them. Fill in the key with the colour you have used. Use as revision for lower-achieving pupils for Year 6 SATs, or to introduce area and perimeter in Year 3.

Print onto card for children to colour and cut out. I usually have them colour the 'past' side one colour and the 'to' side another. The hands attach with split pins and the clocks can then be used as a learning tool in future lessons.

This worksheet introduces children to the concept of a.m. and p.m. and asks them to identify which should be used in familiar situations. The sheet asks for analogue and digital times to be given, which could serve as differentiation within your class, or you could simply ask the children to fill in one or the other.
