A fun and creative activity for children to practice what they know about area and perimeter by plotting furniture items on a grid, according to set values for area and perimeter. Example question: There are four speakers in the corners of the room with an area of 4cm² each. Choose a colour to represent them. Fill in the key with the colour you have used. Use as revision for lower-achieving pupils for Year 6 SATs, or to introduce area and perimeter in Year 3.

A fill-in-the-box worksheet where the children start with a random three-digit number (found on random number generator website or by using dice). As they move to the left-hand columns, they count back by 10, 100 or 1000; as they move to the right-hand columns, they count on by 10, 100 or 1000.
