This Back to School geometry math packet includes a study guide, worksheets, lessons, assessments, and great diagrams for assorted topics in geometry. With this bundle I have added Area, Perimeter, Volume, and Measurement The study guides include discussion of slope, graphing coordinates (graphing equations for the advanced learner), patterns, pi, and area and circumference of a circle. The worksheets follow along with each topic. Included is a special bonus-Geometry fun cards with MLB team logos on each card can be used as flash cards, geometry game or as an assessment of understanding of diameter, radius and chord. Students in my algebra class have a very difficult time understanding absolute value inequalities and equations with regard to graphing. I have developed a presentation that flows from one slide to the next with each step. It seems to have worked, as students have made tremendous strides in understanding. Common Core Standards for high school algebra include representing and solving one variable equations and inequalities graphically. This resource is tremendous in demonstrating the basic steps to both solving and graphing on a number line. It includes diagrams for equations and (conjunction-disjunction) inequalities in an easy to understand presentation. 72 slides.
