This powerpoint is an example of how you can make a really effective assessment feedback lesson.
You can model excellent explanation and layer the development of answers using a powerpoint like this and also have lots of additional activities to keep students busy.

This assembly is based on this year’s theme- reclaiming the Narrative as well as highlighting how easily false narratives have spread.
Examines the role of racial bias in the media and politics in the UK and the riots of 2024 as well as the insideous nature of the anti-Haitian rhetoric from some in the USA.
Idea is to promote awareness of the danger of misinformation and to encourage students to challenge one sided narratives especially if they are hateful.
Includes a house competition which can be amended for your school and a script for the assembly if you need it.

Weimar and Nazi Germany

This lesson looks at the Lean Years following the Munich Putsch and the way in which the Nazis reorganised including the development of new branches of the party e.g. women and young people and the development of the SS as a foil to the SA.
