This is a three day unit of work for teaching Pie Charts in year 6. Day 2 involves the children answering questions about a variety of different pie charts using the skills developed in previous session. The children will calculate values, fractions and percentages as well as use estimation to find answers. They will calculate values of segments and then use these to construct an accurate pie chart and then formulate questions about their pie chart.
