Number line for the classroom

(4)
I created this number line for my classroom and several people asked for it so I uploaded it here. It is a mixture of popular culture, logos and pictures to represent the numbers from -19 to 20. There is a plan to make it -50 to 50 if there is enough call for it.

If you answer the question one way you get a silhouette of an animal, if you answer it the other way you get a different animal. What are the two animals on each sheet (you need two copies) I have been advised the gerbil isn't very good. Maybe try the others.

Ask members of the group to come to board and tap the correct answer, it will not move on until the correct answer is tapped but will indicate if that given answer is incorrect. I have used it a few times so I hope all works properly. Please tell me if there is an error. I have found an error, there are two 90s, I will get this fixed.

Volumes of cuboids and triangular prisms (self marking)

Calculate the volumes of each of the shapes and check the answer is correct. Putting the letters in the order of the questions reveals a piece of advice "A triangular prism is half of a cuboid!" Oh, and its written backwards so they don't get it too early.
Plotting quadratics graphs (matching activity)

Plotting quadratics graphs (matching activity)

Two sheets with both factorised and unfactorised quadratics. The first sheet matches up with the second demonstrating they are the same expression as the graphs are the same. Work in pairs, match the graphs and observe what you see about both your results.
