A 10 page booklet centred on the presentation of Mrs Sybil Birling in Act Two of An Inspector Calls. This booklet uses consolidating tasks and visuals to help students get to grips with the plot, key quotes and a practice question. It also explores Priestley’s intentions and the class expectations of the time. I use this to assist my students’ understanding of the play each time that I teach it.

It takes students through the final scenes in An Inspector Calls, with analysis questions exploring the probable identities of the Inspector. It also closely analyses his closing speech, and the family’s differing reactions following this. I use this as an aid to assist students’ annotations of the play.
