Parent Partnership - working with parents to help children’s reading and writing.
Pages of high frequency words that have to be cut up (8 per page) for parents to use as flash cards to help their child read the words by sight. Can extend activity by getting children to write the words as well.
(Words are from Letters and Sounds HFW)
There are some blank sheets for you to add any other words. Hope it&'s useful :)

Children can write the sums down on the butterflies' bodies. If writing a number sentence proves too difficult, have students color in a block on the grid to correspond with the number of spots on the butterfly to demonstrate one-on-one correspondence.
