I’ve been using this type of resource for years, with great success; it really helps pupils to get an understanding of where they are overall. Excel spreadsheet for keeping track of your GCSE DT 9-1 NEA pupils’ marks. Conditionally formatted to colour code the entire row based on the overall mark. Excellent for keeping pupils on target and motivated to get to the next grade up. The top band assessment criteria are added as comments to the S1, S2 etc columns, so you can quickly remind yourself and pupils what you are aiming at. Also useful for HoDs to keep track of multiple groups (if you’d like advice on how best to do this, please contact me via email after downloading). Doesn’t require headphones, so can easily be used in class with no disruption or extra resources necessary. Learn how to create shapes, extrude, rotate and and assemble the whole chair. Brilliant for GCSE, as it allows students to create a full model, which they can then generate a large number of useful things from: different colourways, IKEA-style instructions, technical drawings and so on.
