Another game I played recently was a game I call Runaround. I will put 4 cards in each corner of my classroom and then give my students either a word or a description, depending on their level. The students then have to run to the right corner. They love playing this game in teams, it adds an active and competitive element to their vocabulary lessons. Alternatively you can use these cards for a game of Who am I. Students play in pairs and each student has a card facing away from them and to the other student. By asking questions, they have to find out which card they have.
