A text about Bio-Mode in which students must (i) analyse and explain the the case of a series of highlighted articles and nouns in the first part of the text and (ii) supply the correct article in the second part of the text. Solution also provided for part (ii)
Playscript in which a stressed teacher foolishly complains about the length and structure of the school day to the Head Teacher, who happens to be Darth Vader. Students could practise the dialogue as is, and then change the words in bold type.

Powerpoint with 24 slides each with a stimulus question relating to the Yr 12 topic "Interessen und Sorgen der Jugend". I used this to stimulate discussion at thee nd of the topic. The first slide of the PPT acts as a homepage. Students choose a number and are hyperlinked to a slide they can not see.
Open-ended activity in which students must (i) improvise a dialogue featuring all of the sentences on the sheet and (ii) write the dialogue up. Works well if you improvise a dialogue for the class to watch before asking them to do it.

Questions on Filmsprache in Das Leben der Anderen followed by (i) a manipulation exercise, in which students must adapt the questions to generate statements about technical aspects of the film and (ii) an essay title.
Toolkit featturing key structures for describing a room. It brings together the Nominative, the Accusative and prepositions with the Dative . It is followed by a multiple choice exercise practising these grammatical points.
Powerpoint which systematically builds up a table demonstrating the formation of the Dative after certain prepositions (an, auf , hinter etc). After the table has been built up, articles are removed randomly and students have to say what is missing.
