This is a lesson to support students with their first few lessons of the NEA focusing on the Language Investigation. It goes through what it is and ideas for further research, plus topic suggestions. Informs students how to set out their investigation and gives some exemplars from previous students.

Focusing on Section A of Paper One, ten different resources to use in lessons or could be used as a homework resource. Multiple pairs included, one historical text and one contemporary, across a variety of different topics. Included are also scaffolds for each question to help to support the analysis process; these have been used in lessons with my A Level students and have proven successful. The pack has 43 questions in total including a range of Section A discursive questions, also question 3 and question 4 questions across the range of Paper 2 topics. There are also self-review/ reflection activities at the start for students to review their progress. The pack also includes a range of scaffolds for each question, including the AQA mark schemes for students to self review.

These are scaffolds used with both mid ability and low ability GCSE classes to help to explore key quotes in the poems and also to check students’ rudimentary understanding of the main parts of the poems. Could also be used as independent revision resources.

This is a comprehensive document to help support students through the English Language NEA Investigation. It includes a range of advice on how to get started and suggestions for students of topics. It tells students how it should be set out and gives advice for each section. There are also some good examples of some sections included to demonstrate how to write the investigation too. The resource could be printed for students to use and it has proven beneficial to those students embarking on their NEA for the first time.

This a SOW for co teaching of the advertising products Maybelline and Score. Includes lots of contextual information about advertising in the 60s compared to now. Also includes a range of exam questions on ares such as post modernism, semiotics, etc so that students can practise their skills. Comprehensive sow containing 12 lessons. Tried and tested with Year 13 students and worked effectively.
