This is a lesson to support students with their first few lessons of the NEA focusing on the Language Investigation. It goes through what it is and ideas for further research, plus topic suggestions. Informs students how to set out their investigation and gives some exemplars from previous students.
Focusing on Section A of Paper One, ten different resources to use in lessons or could be used as a homework resource. Multiple pairs included, one historical text and one contemporary, across a variety of different topics. This is a comprehensive document to help support students through the English Language NEA Investigation. It includes a range of advice on how to get started and suggestions for students of topics. It tells students how it should be set out and gives advice for each section. There are also some good examples of some sections included to demonstrate how to write the investigation too. The resource could be printed for students to use and it has proven beneficial to those students embarking on their NEA for the first time.
