Use these in a variety of ways to reinforce knowledge and understanding including:
Individually or in pairs, students explain the picture/image in the context of Cold War (research time can be given)
. Get the students to group together based on certain criteria:
. Topic e.g. Weimar, Elections, Life in Nazi Germany
. Key people e.g. Ernst Rohm, Hindenberg
Students to form pairs or small groups and explain how their picture/image connects with the other pictures
Lay the pictures out and ask the students to go round and contribute (write) one piece of information on as many pictures as they can.
This can be done in small groups – each student with a different colour pen (see who contributes what!)
