I created these checklist cards as English Coordinator to help embed grammar throughout the school. The children can use them to assess when they have done a piece of writing. I used both the national curriculum and Pie Corbett's progression in writing to put these together. They are very visual and give examples. This is the year 2 one. Had lots of good feedback from our school and cluster from children and staff.

It revises the grammar terms such as article, noun, adjective etc giving clear examples The children then put their own words in to a grid to build up Christmas themed sentences about what they’ve learned.
