I made a PowerPoint a few years back on how to make a resistor with pencils. Here are (differentiated) instructions explaining to students how to carry out the investigation. To do this experiment you will need a digital multimeter that can measure resistance.

Activity that explains the key points of what is free fall, and also how we work out weight using g. I find the activity lasts around an hour or so.
