This is a practice on the imperfect tense in Spanish. The practice is divided by sections (-ar, -er, -ir, ser / ir / ver)
Part 1: For -ar, -er, and -ir verbs, students will be given 2 infinitives with stems and they will write the appropriate endings. A list of verb endings is provided on the top of every page.
Part 2: Students will complete 6 original sentences per verb type by conjugating the verb in the imperfect tense and adding 4-5 words.
For irregular verbs (ser , ir, ver), students will write the 6 conjugations for every verb using the word bank provided. Then, they will answer 6 personal questions in the imperfect tense (2 questions per verb)

Preterit practice: Regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs
For each verb type (-ar, -er, -ir) students will be given 3 infinitives with stems for all 6 persons. They will write the appropriate ending for each stem. Then, they will complete 3 sentences for each verb type using the preterit and adding 4-5 words.
A list of verb endings is provided on the top of every page.

This practice can be used as students are introduced to the regular preterit.
This is a practice on irregular verbs in the preterit. The practice is divided by sections: I, U, and J stem verbs.
Length: 4 pages
For each section students will attach the appropriate endings to the stems for all 6 persons for every verb and answer one personal question per verb. A list of the endings are provided on the top of every page.
Page 1: Section on I stem verbs: hacer, querer, venir (3 personal questions)

Present subjunctive sentence completions with -go verbs

Part 1: Complete the table with the missing conjugations in the present subjunctive. Note: Keep the “g” in all 6 conjugations. (10 total)
Part 2: Complete each sentence using a different subject and a different -go verb from part 1 using the present subjunctive. You may not repeat subjects and verbs. Your sentence must make sense. No collaboration or on-line translators. (10 total)
A template is provided with introductory verbs (conjugated) for students to write their sentences.

I-Y preterit verbs practice conjugations questions and sentences
Verbs included: leer, caer, creer, oir
-UIR verbs: destruir, construir, influir, incluir
Part 1: For each verb, write the correct conjugation for the yo, tú, nosotros, and vosotros forms using the word bank provided. For the 3rd person singular (Él / Ella / Ud) and 3rd person plural (Ellos / Ellas / Uds) conjugations, write a “Y” in the blank provided.
Part 2: Answer each question in a complete sentence in Spanish in the preterit tense. (8 total / one question for each of the 8 verbs)

Present subjunctive original sentence practice
Length: 1 page
Create original sentences in the present subjunctive with the following guidelines:
Create two subjects (persons) for every sentence. For subjects, you can use subject pronouns (yo, tú and names of people). Vary your subjects.
In the last column, add 3-4 words to create an original and logical sentence in the present subjunctive.
Template includes conjugated introductory and present subjunctive verbs and students will create original subjects to match them.
Students will write a total of 10 sentences in the template provided. This practice can be used as students are being introduced to the subjunctive.
Imperfect tense sentence practice (no collaboration / no on-line translators)
Length: 1 page
Create original sentences in the imperfect tense using the guidelines provided:
For each verb conjugation come up with a different subject (person). For subjects, you can use subject pronouns (yo, tú etc and names of persons). Do NOT repeat any subject.
Add 4-5 words to expand on the sentence.
Your sentence must make sense. Sentences should not be repetitive (using the same words over and over).
Students will create 12 original sentences
*A template with clue words (cada dia etc) and verb conjugations is provided for students to write their sentences.

Preterit imperfect conjugation practice and sentence completions
Part 1: Conjugate each infinitive in the preterit § and in the imperfect (I) for all 6 persons. Conjugations are separated by verb type: regular, irregular etc.
Part 2: Original sentence completions: Complete each sentence using a different verb in the preterit and imperfect tenses depending on the clue word (ayer, cada día etc). Add 5-6 words to create an original sentence that makes sense. No collaboration or on-line translators. (15 total)

Imperfect tense conjugations and sentences (no collaboration or on-line translators)
For each verb type -ar, -er, -ir, write the correct conjugation using the word bank. Then, use the six conjugations and subjects (persons) to write an original 8 word sentence in the imperfect tense. Sentences must be 8 words minimum including the clue word (cada día etc). Note: Clue words that are 2 or 3 words (ex: todas las tardes) will count as one word only. Post the word count at the end of every sentence. Your sentences must make sense and should not be repetitive (using the same words over and over)
For sentences, clue words are provided at the beginning of every sentence.
For -ar, -er, -ir verbs, students will conjugate 18 verbs (6 per verb type) and write 18 original sentences. For ser, ir, ver, students will conjugate all 3 verbs for all six persons and write 3 sentences (one with each verb).
