This is Term 1 I have broken them down into terms which should ensure that the word list is covered over the year. The resource is alphabetical and covers spellings A-C. Word Processing Skills KS2 Level 1: Colour and Font

I have created a series of lessons has been designed to increase your pupils’ word processing skills. The can be used during registration time or as stand alone lessons. One major barrier to learning I encountered when asking children to use Microsoft Word was their lack of experience using Word’s basic functions. I have broken the key elements I believe primary school children should understand down into 6 separate child-led lessons. I recommend that you first model the activities to the class and then let the children explore. This is Level 1 : Colour and font Level 2: Bullet points Level 3: Text boxes Level 4: Images Level 5: Spelling and grammar check Level 6: Symbols

KS2 years 3 to 6 Non Chronological Reports Model Texts on the Titanic

(0)
4 non-chronological reports about the Titanic in the style of an age 8, 9, 10 and 11 child. The reports ahve an introduction that briefly outlined the contents of the report, followed by sections on the history and construction of the Titanic, the disaster that led to its sinking, and the aftermath of the tragedy. The report concludes by reminding the reader of the importance of safety rules and valuing human life. In terms of grammatical features, I have used a range of adverbs and adjectives to add detail and description to the report. I have also used subordinate clauses to provide additional information and structure the report. Additionally, I have used a variety of punctuation, such as commas and colons, to separate ideas and create clarity in the text. .

SEN Whole School Provision Web

As a SENCo I found this particually useful to map out the provision we offer our pupils at my current school. The web is broken into 6 sections of learning: Individualised Support Indentification of needs Quality First Teaching Extra Curricular Provision Interventions Communication The provision we the provide is colour coded. This is great for parents and visitors to our website to get a clear overview of provision. This has been created on PowerPoint and is therefore editable.
