GCSE English Language Paper 2 Revision Pack

(1)
This pack consists of three detailed presentations covering each of the five questions in Language Paper 2. The three presentations can be spread over multiple lessons, or given to students as revision guides. Accompanying the presentations is a full practice paper with sample answers that I prepared, based on the theme of pollution. These resources are made to teach students about the exam skills and style of writing to be aimed for in exams. All of the files are PDFs, but if you’d prefer a Google docs/slides link, let me know. This will include animations for the powerpoints in some cases. If you are a GCSE student interested in tutoring, don’t be afraid to contact me. I charge £15 an hour and will try to mark any work you send me outside of lesson time.

This is a complete Macbeth resource pack that can be used for either tutoring a student or small group of students, or for self-teaching or revising content. The pack also contains a blank knowledge organiser to use as revision, and a filled version with detailed analysis of 30+ quotes and unique contextual detail to help students stand out and deepen their understanding. The lessons are structured as: Introduction to Macbeth, including a contextual overview of the period, and facts on Shakespeare’s life. There is an introduction to Shakespearian language and poetic meter. Witches and the Supernatural Masculinity and Femininity Tyranny and Violence Ambition and Desire Kingship and Lineage Madness and Guilt Structure Lessons 2 through 6 are each structured around 3 interpretations of the same theme, to help students develop a “conceptual” understanding of the text based on context and Shakespeare’s method. I have tried to made the contextual references specific, unique and relevant to help students gain as many marks as they can. Please note that Lesson 6 is available for free as a sample lesson on my page. All of the files are Powerpoint files, but if you’d prefer a Google docs/slides link, or a PDF, let me know. Jekyll and Hyde Tutoring + Revision Pack

(0)
I have put together a pack of all my Jekyll and Hyde teaching resources, that I use for my ten lesson tutoring series. The pack contains nine full presentations, containing over a hundred slides, all designed and researched by me. The lessons are split between content, a few student activities in between, with exam practice at the end of every lesson, often based on sample answers I have prepared, which are also included in full in the pack. The lessons are based around key themes such as criminology, hoping to encourage students to develop a conceptual mindset when thinking about the text. Alongside the core lessons, there are revision resources which correspond with the main material, such as revision cards with my analysis of key quotes and scenes, and a blank knowledge organizer to use for revision. All of the files are PDFs, but if you’d prefer a Google docs/slides link, let me know. This will include animations for the powerpoints in some cases. This resource consists of four lessons I made to teach the reading component of GCSE English Language Paper 1. The lessons each consist of a practice exam, a student worksheet, and a Powerpoint presentation. There are numerous examples of how to do and structure analysis, with some freedom to alter for more or less able students. Each lesson contains a full practice exam (thees are available separately on my page) and homework tasks. Please note, these lessons were designed for private tutoring, but can be altered for a broader class. All of the files are Powerpoint and Microsoft Word, but if you’d prefer a Google docs/slides link, or a PDF, let me know.
