I have put together a pack of all my Jekyll and Hyde teaching resources, that I use for my ten lesson tutoring series. This resource consists of four lessons I made to teach the reading component of GCSE English Language Paper 1. The lessons each consist of a practice exam, a student worksheet, and a Powerpoint presentation. The extracts are all taken from 21st century science-fiction and dystopian fiction, with the aim of choosing texts that are more engaging for students. Each lesson is focused on building up from key skills and using these as building blocks for analysis. There are numerous examples of how to do and structure analysis, with some freedom to alter for more or less able students.
