Dual coding is a great way to revise with your students. The animations allow for one section to be displayed at one time. Go through the section (explaining as you go) whilst the students copy what is on the board. They then work in pairs (number then 1 and 2) number 1 re-explains the section with both students tracing the diagram in front of them with their finger. Then repeat for section two with the second students explaining to the first (alternate until finished). Give the students 5 minutes to study their completed map and then cover it up and get them to re-draw on a blank piece of paper. You will be amazed at how much the students are able to remember. Repeat the last section (re-drawing the entire map) a few days or week later to consolidate better. If you are happy with this resource, please leave a review, thank you.
