A ‘Trash’ study booklet that can be used as individual lessons or as a study guide to accompany students’ reading of the novel. Includes over 30 self-guided lessons A great resource for students to use independently, too! This booklet includes reading and writing activities that students can complete after each chapter. I created this booklet for my Year 8 class but can be used with other key stage 3 classes; all students can respond to the variety of activities, with the high prior attainers being challenged through the success criteria.

I created these worksheets to support students in exploring the poem in groups and feeding back their ideas to the class. They used the planning sheet to plan a comparative response. I’ve included one of the model responses that were produced during these lessons. Sorry, could not find my lesson PP to upload.
