Whole school Primary PE progression map and overview covering ALL National Curriculum Objectives from Nursery through to Year 6. All national curriculum objectives broken down by year group to show full progression across the primary stage. It includes Outdoor Adventure, Dance, Swimming objectives. This resource also includes a whole school PE overivew of units.
Geography planning for Year 3 covering all extreme earth geographical objectives. This planning covers basic map skills, layers of the earth, plate tectonics, how volcanoes and earthquakes are formed and their impact on both humans and the environment. This cover lower KS2 objectives so could be used for Year 4 also.
Science Rocks Year 3 Planning. A full term of planning covering all relevant rocks and working scientifically objectives. Also includes work on Mary Anning.

DT Mechanism Year 3 Moving Stone Age Pictures. This unit of work covers moving mechanisms. We use the book “Boy” by James Mayhew as inspiration for our pictures. This resource is a full terms planning, smartboard, planning pack and short video of a final design
This unit covers all the key Year 3 Light Objectives along with a scientist study.
Recognise that they need light in order to see things and that dark is the absence of light
Notice that light is reflected from surfaces
Recognise that light from the sun can be dangerous and that there are ways to protect their eyes
Recognise that shadows are formed when the light from a light source is blocked by a solid object
Find patterns in the way that the size of shadows change

Multiplication Madness!
A fun, practical way to reinforce multiplication facts.
Game 1: Individual
Set a timer for 3 minutes. Turn over a card and answer the question. Place your coloured counter on the answer square. How many can you get in a minute? Repeat the game and see if you can beat your score!
Challenge
Try individual multiplication tables, a set of three (x2 x5 x10) or mix them all up!
Change your timer – need more time to start with? Up it to 5 minutes. Getting quicker? Reduce the time to see how many you can get in a minute.
Game 2
Take it in turns to turn over a card and answer the question. Put your coloured counter on the space. Who can get four in a row first?
Game 3
Player 1 turns over a card. The first person to put their colour counter on the correct answer space wins the space. Player 2 turns over the next card. The first person to put their counter on the correct answer space wins the space.

A set of 22 Powerpoint slides that cover the Year 2 Expected and Greater Depth objectives.
Slides are editable so can be added to or pictures changed.
These can be used for the whole class as a starter/extension task. I have also used these for individuals or intervention groups.
Ideal for Year 2 however they make a good resources for GD Year 1’s or Lower Key Stage 2.
