This smartboard is aimed for upper key stage 2 and links to the topic of Victorians and the workhouse life. This smartboard has over 70 slides that supports the learning of the children. The use of Street Child , the book , is used in these lesson as. The lessons focus are to: -to plan and then write a diary of child living in a workhouse - 3 lessons -to plan and write a report on the workhouses - 5 lessons Each of the lessons has a starter , main activity and modelling and plenaries. All the learning is conducted through a range of activities from group work, visuals and videos. The starters are sometimes linked to the writing genre and some are grammar starters for the lessons. All the resources are on the smartboards and the only resourcing you may wish to do is a word mat. A great detailed resource that ensures the children are using and applying their knowledge into two different forms of writing. Please leave positive feedback
