A * 'Aeneid' Mindmaps (OCR A Level Classics/Classical Civilisation)

(0)
This revision resource contains six mindmaps, all on separate A4 sheets, which cover the main themes and characters of Virgil’s Aeneid - (Aeneas, Dido, Morality, War, Loss and Family) - and include critical quotations as well as context and quotes from the text. The document is therefore six pages in total, and so provides a thorough examination of the text as a whole. These can be used in the study of A Level Classical Civilisation, which is what I was studying in 2018 when I created them. The fact that the notes are so colourful makes them especially helpful for visual learners. If you have any questions, feel free to email alevelsuk@gmail.com If you have found this resource helpful, it would be amazing if you could leave a review! I will be uploading other A Level resources in the future.

These brightly coloured and incredibly detailed notecards provide thorough summaries of every book in Homer’s ‘Odyssey’ (Rieu translation, Penguin Books). This will ensure that you will provide accurate contextual details for every passage you analyse (the OCR A Level in Classical Civilisation, for example, requires you to note the context of every passage). They may be printed, cut out, and stapled or tied together then used as revision cards… They are suitable for those at KS3, GCSE, AS or A Level, but were specifically designed with the OCR A Level in mind. If you would like to see this resource in more depth, I currently have several of the summaries available for free on my TES shop, and if you would like more information email alevelsuk@gmail.com

These highly detailed, brightly coloured notecards give thorough summaries of Books 1, 4, 20 and 24 of Homer’s ‘Odyssey,’ from the Rieu translation (Pengiun books). These summaries are essential for providing context to essays, often a key part of the mark scheme. The notecard format means that you could easily print them, cut them out, staple/tie them together and use them for revision for the A level/AS level/GCSE. If you do find these helpful, I have summaries of the entire poem available on my TES shop. I would appreciate it if you could leave a review. Feel free to email alevelsuk@gmail.com with any questions.
