Badminton Self-Assess Sheet
Great tool to use in a badminton PE lesson to get pupils thinking about their progress throughout a unit of work.
Includes statements with corresponding tick boxes for ‘working towards’, ‘working at’ and ‘working beyond’.
Also includes structuring of a conversation for pupils to speak with a partner reflecting on their progress.
Can also be used a non-doer resource as there is also a ‘score sheet’ on the sheet, plus key teaching points which they can relay to students as they circulate the groups.
PE Football Resource - Non-Doer
This resource is perfect when teaching football in PE for a non-doer (non-participant) who can practically participate in the lesson.
It gives them meaningful tasks to complete as they reflect on teaching points of the skill. There is also a structured space for the student to pick a ‘hardest worker in the room’ award and ‘most progress from start of lesson’ award.
Students love to be a part of the lesson still even without taking part practically and this resource allows them to still fully get involved.

AQA GCSE Physical Education - Physical Training Overview and Self Assess Sheet (students)
I have broken down this chapter into ‘i can/understand/know’ statements for the content covered throughout the unit.
Next to each statement is green, amber, red on how confident students are on the content.
The resource fits on one sheet so is an excellent tool to stick in the front of the students text book whilst they are completing the unit. The teacher can prompt students to review the statements as they go through which could aid the revision process.
There is also a page reference number next to each statement (where they can find the content in the text book). This is with reference to AQA Physical Education (Kirk Bizley) Text book.
Once students are familiar with the process, they will be able to pin point the strengths of the chapter, and areas of development.
