Here we have a complete Primary music curriculum framework system that meets all expectations and aims in education. The system naturally builds subject knowledge in teaching staff. The system includes complete lessons in Ks1 expectations including the interrelated dimensions in music and all Ks2 expectations in the history of music including great composers and each stage of development.
The system as well as being inclusive for all abilities, measures and demonstrates progress throughout. The system automatically identifies gaps in learning and addresses these with reinforcement in learning. The system is a complete plug and play system saving time on lesson planning and if all staff are ‘Singing from the same hymn sheet’.
Your school can demonstrate purely by producing this system of how you deliver the music curriculum and meet all expectation in the subject. This system can be placed on your shared area. All lessons are by power-point with notes including activities, resources and questions (with answers) so your staff can deliver a lesson like a pro regardless of experience in music. The system comes complete with progress forms to run from year 1 to 6 ensuring that all gaps in learning are identified and addressed. There is a timetable included for autumn spring and summer terms.
A user guide is included with a system overview. This is the most simple to use and deliver system that has been developed by teaching staff for teaching staff.
This stops a mish mash of lessons being downloaded from sites with no real instruction and builds confidence in staff in the subject.
More importantly, you will actually have a system in place to show any inspectorate when music is placed on the measure of standard. Furthermore your staff will be much more confident in music teaching as they move through the sessions. The progress sheets include all the information for staff of how the expected aims have been met.
Prepare for the change as music will no longer be a foundation subject in primary education.
The system has been devoloped through 2 years of research, information from parliament and OFSTED and a lifetime in music and education.
The system is fully editable.
Simply download and place Ks1 PP in one folder and Ks1 Notes in another folder and follow the same for Ks2. Other sheets can be placed in folders of your choice. The progress tick sheets are so important to the system.
Place all seperate folders in a complete folder for Music system 2021 and place in shared area for staff.
