Spanish Stem Change Verb Querer with Ir and City Vocabulary - Students translate 10 sentences from English to Spanish using the stem change verb querer followed by ir and city places vocabulary. Students are also instructed to write a city vocabulary word under 6 city clip art images. The answer key is included.
Spanish ER/IR Verbs Conjugated 4 x 4 Matching Squares Puzzle - Students assemble a 4 x 4 Spanish/English vocabulary puzzle with 24 common ER and IR verbs. Sample words are: comprender, aprender, vivir, comer, beber, abrir, poner, sufrir, permitir, and decidir. Just photocopy enough for a class set (1 for every 2 students if working in pairs, or 1 per student if working alone), cut and fasten with a paper clip. Distribute to students and challenge them to reassemble the puzzles as quickly as possible. There is a list of all words alongside the puzzle in Spanish and English. This can be used as a verbs bookmark and reference.
Spanish Christmas Matching Squares / Magic Squares Puzzle - Students assemble a 4 x 4 Spanish/English vocabulary puzzle with common Spanish Christmas and holiday vocabulary. There are 2 versions of the puzzle: 1 with a holiday wreath in each square and one without. The version with the wreath will be slightly easier to assemble because all the wreaths face the same way. This puzzle is a great partner activity for learning and reviewing vocabulary.

Sample verbs are: contar, dormir, jugar, pensar, querer and volver.
Students translate 10 sentences from English to Spanish using stem change verbs with time and days of the week. Verbs included are almorzar, pensar, dormir, servir, encontrar, entender, pedir, empezar, and jugar. The answer key is included.
Each booklet contains 8 pages: the title page with 7 additional pages containing common Spanish words associated with St. Patrick's Day such as pot of gold, leprechaun and parade. Students first read and cut out the Spanish St. Patrick's Day booklet that contains text and illustrations and they then create their own version using the text only template. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the St. Patrick's Day vocabulary. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures on the Smart Board that correspond to the text.
French School Backpack Sketch and Label Activity - Students sketch and label 10 things that they put in their backpacks for school. There are 2 bilingual vocabulary boxes at the bottom of the page to assist students. Sample items are classroom objects such as pencil, notebook, book, plus other items that students might put their backpacks such as sunglasses and bus tickets.
Hanukkah Five Little Dreidels Finger Play - Children will enjoy reciting and acting out this finger play about five little spinning dreidels. There are 5 verses, each with 4 lines. The download includes one page with the finger play and 1 that explains the actions to use with the finger play.
This finger play can be recited as a poem or put to many tunes and performed as a song with actions.

Spanish Future Tense Sentences, Conjugations, and Image IDs - Students translate 10 English to Spanish sentences, each starting with "In the future". The sentences include verbs such as estudiar, practicar, ayudar, reciclar, and proteger. A sample sentence is, "In the future, he will practice his trumpet every day." Students also conjugate future tense verbs in the tu form under 7 clip art images and conjugate 10 more future tense verbs in various forms. The worksheet includes comer fully conjugated in the future tense and a vocabulary box with 9 words and phrases to assist students. The answer key is included.

Spanish Reflexive Verbs 18 Infinitive Image IDs - Students write Spanish infinitive verbs under each of the 18 clip art images. Verbs included are daily routine verbs such as despertarse, ducharse, vestirse and peinarse. Also included are reciprocal reflexive verbs abrazarse and besarse. The assignment makes a nice review sheet when completed. It could also be cut apart and used for flashcards. The answer key can be projected to present, practice and review reflexive verbs.

This can be used when reflexives are introduced, and it is a great hands on, back to school review activity for students with prior Spanish experience. It's also a helpful sub lesson. After students complete the puzzle, they can use the vocabulary list to quiz each other on the vocabulary.
