Spanish Stem Change Verb Poder 10 Translations Worksheet - Students translate 10 sentences from English to Spanish using the stem change verb poder with common infinitives such as leer, tener, ir, escribir and adverbs of time such as hoy, esta tarde and este fin de semana. The conjugation of poder and a vocabulary box are included to assist students. The answer key is also included.
This is an alphabetized list of 215 adjectives used to describe people. The comprehensive list is great for beginners as well as for advanced students. They will use this reference often and for as long as they study Spanish!
French Alphabet Sketch and Color Booklet - Mon Livre d'Alphabet - Students color the alphabet letters and then decide upon and draw their own illustrations for each letter of the alphabet. The booklet contains 28 pages: the title page with 26 additional pages for each letter of the alphabet and an end page. This download also includes several suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. Spanish Writing Assignment / Essay Todo Sobre Mi - All About Me - This item contains 2 assignments. The first is a writing prompt with requirements and vocabulary. The suggested vocabulary makes it easy for students to complete their writing assignments and makes this item useful for all levels of Spanish. A 100 - 200 word essay works well for first year students. The word count can be changed for other levels and varying ability levels. The second assignment is a 235 word sample essay. They then write the corresponding Spanish words under the sketched items. Students enjoy practicing their speaking skills as they proudly present their creations to their classmates. Students practice descriptive adjectives of people by filling 30 small squares with words that describe themselves. They sketch self portraits in the large box in the center. Challenge your students to fill all 30 squares with Spanish adjectives, or have them use a specified number of squares for words, and the rest for sketches that illustrate the adjectives that they use.

Each booklet contains 12 pages: the title page with 11 additional pages containing common Spanish family words. Words included are mamá, papá, abuelo/a, primo/a, tío/a, hermano/a, and perro. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. Students first cut, assemble and read the booklet that contains text and illustrations of family members. "Quiero a mi" is repeated 12 times so students learn the phrase quickly and easily. They then create their own version using the text only template. They'll enjoy sharing their creations with the family members featured in their booklets. These booklets work great as a Spanish Valentine's Day activity! The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the family vocabulary words.
