Students change 20 common Spanish clothing items and their corresponding indefinite articles from singular to plural and then provide the English translation of the plural form. The answer key is included.
Spanish Easter Prepositions of Location Easter Bunny and Egg Spanish fill in the blank with a preposition for each of the 9 sentences about a bunny's location in relation to an egg or eggs. A sample answer key is included, but several sentences could have more than one correct answer.

Christmas Reindeer Label Rudolph the with Animal Body Parts - Students label Rudolph the Reindeer with 14 body parts. There is a version with a word bank to assist students and a version without to suit your needs.

18 airport clip art images that can be photocopied and cut for playing partner slap jack. Print 2 copies for each set to use for playing the concentration game. These cards can also be used as airport flashcards. Just distribute and have students write the vocabulary word in the target language on the reverse. Finally, the slides can be projected for classroom vocabulary practice! Included in the set is 1 page with an English list of all 18 airport vocabulary words in the card set, plus a few additional words associated with airports.
Students practice Spanish family vocabulary while they translate 10 English to Spanish sentences with the verbs tener or ser with hair, eyes and descriptive adjectives. A word bank with descriptive adjectives is included to assist students with hair and eye descriptions. The answer key is also included.
Spanish Autobiography PowerPoint Project - Students reflect on their past, present and future while they practice many important Spanish concepts. This project pulls together the following topics: physical and personality descriptions, introductions, age, likes and dislikes, hobbies, ir a + infinitive to talk about the future, querer, present progressive, regular present tense verbs, preterit, imperfect, commands, and reflexives.
The project includes:
1. Explanation of the task
2. Section with 5 numbered requirements (present to class, use of images, number of slides, printed copy of project, and due date)
3. 8 bulleted categories that must be included. These provide sample sentences and explanations of concepts. Since this project can be used for more than one level, and to allow for grading flexibility, a rubric is not included.
Your students will enjoy creating and sharing these projects about their lives and their classmates enjoy viewing their creations! This is a great year end wrap up project, but it can be used for back to school review or anytime of the year for more advanced students.
Spanish Art Creative Writing Activity - Las Meninas by Diego Velazquez - Students use their imaginations and creativity as they complete 8 callout speech bubbles on Las Meninas, the masterpiece by Diego Velazquez. Included: 1. Las Meninas without callouts that can be projected in class so students can preview the painting. 2. Las Meninas with callouts with Name, Date, and Period in Spanish. 3. Las Meninas with callouts with Name, Date, and Period in English. 4. Instructions which include 3 links that students can use to obtain background information on Las Meninas. One is for the Prado Museum, another is for the Washington Post, and the 3rd is for a 6 minute Khan Academy video that analyzes the painting. The instructions on the activity are written in a way that will give you flexibility in how you use it, including whether you want students to complete the callouts in Spanish, or if you'd prefer to have them use this as a cultural activity and complete the callouts in English or another language. Use this as a homework assignment, a partner activity, or project it and have students fill in the speech bubbles on the Smart Board.
2 Spanish Body Parts Que Te Duele - Me Duele Booklets Students first cut, assemble and read the booklet that contains text and illustrations of several different body parts in pain such as earache, headache, broken arm, broken leg, stomachache, etc. They then create their own version using the text only template. The title page asks Que te duele and each subsequent page responds with Me duele plus a body part. Each booklet contains 12 pages: the title page with 11 additional pages. This item also includes suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the body parts vocabulary words. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures on the Smart Board that correspond to the text.
French Winter Clothing 2 Emergent Readers - Warm up to winter with these winter clothing booklets! Each booklet contains 8 pages: the title page with 7 additional pages containing words for clothing worn in winter. One booklet contains text and images, the other contains text only so students can sketch and create their own versions of the booklets. Words included are veste, moufles, écharpe, bottes, chapeau, pull-over, and pantalon de neige. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page.

French Remembrance Day 2 Emergent Reader Booklets - Le Jour du Souvenir - Each booklet contains 12 pages: the title page with 11 additional pages containing words associated with Remembrance Day. Words included are: soldier, armed forces, poppy, parade, cemetery, veterans, November 11th, love, dove, peace, and wreath. Also included is a page of suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page.
Students first read and cut out the booklet that contains text and illustrations, then create their own version using the text only template. Students will enjoy sharing them with classmates and family members!

This Dia de los Muertos crossword puzzle contains 23 clues for common Spanish Day of the Dead vocabulary words plus several clip art images. Students are instructed to:
1. Complete the crossword
2. Write Spanish vocabulary words under each picture
3. Write the Spanish vocabulary word next to each clue
A corresponding vocabulary list, copied 2 per page, is included. This makes a great substitute lesson activity because students can use the vocabulary lists for pair work quizzing when they complete the puzzle.

Spanish Day of the Dead / Halloween Body Parts Label the Skeleton Activity - Students label 19 different body parts (not the actual bones) with Spanish words such as pierna, brazo, etc. This activity is great for Day of the Dead and Halloween, but can be used any time. The answer key is included.
Make it easy for your students to remember the concept of agreement of nouns and adjectives, and tricky comparative adjectives by teaching them this short, simple, 2 stanza poem. The rhyming words and cadence will be going through their heads long after they leave the classroom! Vocabulary words used are about food, family and school. Spanish Subject Pronouns Reference and Practice provides all subject pronouns and explains their uses.
