Spanish Children's Song Book - Caballito Blanco - This is a traditional children's song. There's a full page for class viewing and also 3 separate pages that can be assembled into booklets for children. The pictures in the booklet could also be copied and used as student flashcards. Also included is a youtube link for a karoke version of the song that you can play for your students.
This is a 2-person, 12 line skit between strangers on the street. One is desperate to learn the time, and the other struggles to understand and provide a helpful response. There are several useful phrases such as vale, pardón, oye, mande, no sé + infinitive, qué hora es?, lo siento, no hay de que, son las tres, qué lo pase bien, and por favor. One person repeats sabe la hora 3 times, and also uses qué hora es, and ya sé la hora. Each of them say son las tres.

Add some Valentine fun to your classroom with these Spanish Valentine's Day signs. Post them on a bulletin board, in the hall, or around your room for student reference while making Spanish Valentine's Day cards.
There are 18 clues with words related to Martin Luther King. Examples are: Nobel Prize, peace, equality, liberty, demonstration, and I have a dream. There are also 8 clip art images to identify.
Also included:
1. Bilingual French/English word list with 18 words for presenting and practicing vocabulary.

Students are instructed to:
1. Write the English translation next to each clue.
2. Find the French word in the word search.
3. Write a French word under each image.
This puzzle activity is a good substitute lesson plan. When the puzzle is complete, students can work with partners to quiz each other on the vocabulary from the word list.
Spanish Valentine's Day Flashcards / Game Cards With and Without Words - The 2 page set contains 1 page of cards with Spanish vocabulary words and one page without words. Each contains 16 cards with Valentine images such as kiss, hug, hearts, flowers, chocolate, etc. The cards can be projected to present and review vocabulary, play vocabulary games such as Slap Jack, Memory, or Go Fish, can be cut, pasted and labeled on Valentine cards, and can be used for student vocabulary flashcards. The download includes a page with several suggestions for using the cards.
Spanish Weather Skit / Role Play / Pair Work - Hace Tanto Calor - This is a 2-person skit between 2 friends discussing what they can do in the hot weather. Each person has 5 lines. They agree that it's very hot, and decide to go for ice cream for a little relief. Constructions and phrases used are: tienes hambre, ir a, no lo sé, a qué temperatura estamos, es verdad, quieres ir, vámonos, and more. It's short enough for students to memorize in a day or 2 of practice and utilizes useful, everyday language. It's also a great activity for a substitute teacher lesson. Included: 1. Bilingual skits copied 2 per page for student handouts. 2. Spanish only skits that can be used for reading comprehension. These are also copied 2 per page for student handouts.
French Sports 30 Vocabulary Image IDs Worksheet - Students identify 30 sports clipart images.

This activity uses ser with with personality, appearance, and professions along with various family members. Students will practice 3 forms of each verb with these activities.
Each student mingles with a bingo grid and must find different classmates that can reply yes when asked about statements in each of the 16 boxes. A sample statement is, "Mi mamá es maestra en una escuela primaria." When a student replies yes to a question, the questioning student follows up by asking in Spanish for the student's signature. The goal is to be the first student to fill the entire bingo grid.
Also included is a follow up worksheet that requires students to:
1. Write a sentence for each of the 16 boxes in the grid. The student includes the name of the student that signed the box and must change the verbs to the third person. Some will require students to use the possessive de.
2. Write an appropriate Spanish infinitive verb under 6 images at the bottom of the paper.
These are fun activities for students learning ser, and they're also great back to school get to know you / review activities for students with prior Spanish experience.

French Adjectives Mirror Sketch and Label Activity - Students sketch their self portraits in one mirror and then write adjectives used to describe themselves in the other.
Uses and ideas for this activity:
1. This is a great practice activity when descriptive adjectives are introduced.
2. Use as a back to school review of descriptive adjectives.
3. This is a fun speaking activity when students present their completed sketches to their classmates.
4. Use at the beginning of the year and the end of the year to see how students progress throughout the year.
5. Decorate the hall or a bulletin with these colorful, personalized student creations.

It's for 2 students who ask and respond to questions allowing practice of 2 forms of irregular yo verbs, and direct object pronouns. Each student has 11 short lines which makes it possible to memorize with sufficient practice. Conmigo and contigo are also used.
