A reading record I put together for my Y7, Y8 and Y9 pupils. Included is space for pupils to record what they are reading and comments (a reading log), recommended reads as well as reading activities for pupils to complete.

A lesson that I put together for my new Year 8 class all about WW1 trenches. We study War Poetry in the Autumn term so this serves as a little introduction as to the sort of lessons we will be doing.
To help pupils recap key word classes in preparation for the SPAG test, I have created a simple PPT where pupils are given a sentence and then must label each word with its word class as well as identifying what type of sentence it is. It has proved extremely useful as a quick starter to a grammar lesson.
