I’ve used this for AQA A-level English literature (Up The Line to Death) but this could easily be adapted for GCSE English literature, especially a more able group.

This is a very useful resource that I have used in lessons as a starter and for revision homework which is based on each of the acts in ‘Macbeth’. These pyramids are inspired by Kate Jones. They are differentiated so students can tackle the easier revision questions if they wish or the more challenging ones. The aim for the students is to achieved the highest points score at the end of the challenge.

A useful revision resource for the main themes in ‘Animal Farm’. I’ve used it with my classes for homework and in lessons, particularly at GCSE and for Year 9 in preparing for GCSE. It can also be a handy cover lesson too. There are 36 different questions in total. Students can revise on their own or they can use the sheet to test each other.
