This is the first lesson in an 8 lesson scheme of learning for key stage 3 on the Industrial Revolution. It introduces the concept of an industrial revolution and links it to the key changes that occurred during the Industrial Revolution in Britain. Students have to find a definition and track change over 140 years, by identifying and categorising the various changes. No text book is needed.
