The document contains a table of 25 potential Narrative Account exam questions relating to the Edexcel topic American West. Use this document to help equip students for what is an extremely difficult exam question. The table can also be used to help direct students towards effective revision, which uses exam question planning as a way of revising content and exam technique at the same time. Brief lesson PowerPoint to introduce students to the problems faced by the first settlers on the Plains. Lesson does require understanding on the part of the teacher, especially as information is kept to a minimum with visual resources being utilised more. Exam practice question included, with sentence stems, as well as support and challenge tasks / slides. Big question included to hook students into learning, and there is also an engaging plenary.
