This resource booklet contains 9 lessons worth of content which uses KS4 concepts. The lessons covered are: -To understand the status of women c.1900. -To understand arguments against female suffrage. -To understand why the Suffragettes turned to violence. -To understand interpretations about the death of Emily Davison. -To understand the impact of the Great War on women. -To understand the reasons why women won the right to vote. -To understand the impact of WW2 on women. -To understand what life was like for women during the 1960s. -To understand what life was like for women during the 1970s. Whilst designed to follow a highly challenging KS3 scheme of work, the content within this booklet does apply to certain aspects of KS4 courses which csimilar themes. Lessons tailored to this booklet are highly challenging and rigorously planned and as such the content within this booklet will stretch even the most able students.
