These new resources have been created for the new T Level in Business and Administration.
This bundle is specifically to support the stakeholder topic area on the Business Context section of the specification.
Business Context
1.8 Internal and External Stakeholders
This bundle includes:
A full personal learning checklist document for all of the Business Context topic (1.1-1.11) which can be used to assess learning and progress at a class level, or by individual students for revision (MS Excel)
A 10 page workbook that includes 4 different activities to embed learning around stakeholders. This can be completed individually, as a group activity or used for whole class teaching (MS Word)
A slide deck of starter questions, 4 slides of 5 questions, with a 5 minute timer and answer slides for starters/revision/quizzes (MS PowerPoint)

Cash flow revision sheet A3
Simple activity for intervention or revision, designed to allow students to access regardless of level. Starts with A01 and reminders about definition and key formula through to a supported cash flow gap fill. Independent gap fill and MCQ examples, finishing with higher level questioning and long answers based on cash flow from previous exam papers for high end practice.
Course Handbook
Written for students use, includes exam answer structures, SOW for theme 1 and 2, marking grids, key formula and and overview of the course.
Can be edited to conform to your plans and schedules, or used as a starting point for a new course.
This booklet compiles a range of different activities to support students on Theme 1.1 of the A level specification. There are worksheets, reading tasks, extended writing questions and past Edexcel exam questions.
This will be used in our department as a method of setting independent work for our post 16 students, and as their homework.

These slides are all specifically based on theme 1.2. They are fully editable should you want to cut and rearrange the order of questions, or mix and match them with any of my other start questions to ensure that essential theme 1 learning is not forgotten as students progress through the course.

A selection of MCQ and short answer questions for use at the beginning of teaching Theme 2.
40 minute, 36 mark assessment which students should be able to start self-assessing in class to reduce marking.
Can be used in conjunction with the Personal Learning checklists, to indicate students current understanding of each theme at the beginning of the year.

Knowledge Organsiers Topics 1.1 -1.5
Booklet contains key factual information in the form of knowledge organisers. Key information topic by topic reduced into key notes and bullet points supported with images and colour to aid retention. Can be used as revision packs by students or printed onto A3 as knowledge mats for use within the classroom.
Glossary and Key terms Topic 1.1 - 1.5
Back of the booklet contains key terms glossary for each of the topics - sub-divided for easy reference. Not only great for students, as the lists include a check box to use when key terms have been secured, but also great to use within the classroom to support students with literacy or other SENd requirements - excellent differentiation.
The Changing Landscape of Business
Powerpoint with activities for a lesson based on the changing landscape of business. Include quantiative skills development with a graph activity to demonstrate the changes to the different industrial sectors over time. Can also be used to introduce the concept of % change that students on this new specification have to learn.
My students are now starting to remember % change calculation to be DDO (difference, divided by original) - we are using repetition to retain this one!

Great talking points for students/staff - even better with props think pager, CD walkman, casette player. Also useful to prepare for second lesson about trends and resurgence (think record players).
Starter for % change
Whole lesson based on break-even and Bob’s Burger business.
Calculate total fixed and variable costs, before completing a spreadsheet of revenue and total costs to produce a break even chart. Exam style questions then follow to support learning.
Independent task, with stop and review points allowing students to work at their own pace.

Can be used as an assessment, ‘walking-talking mock’, home work or review activity.
To be used alone or in conjunction with the Assessment 1 2.1.1, 2.1.2 MCQ paper, to give a range of question types.
Formed using old specification questions with small tweaks to suit the new assessment methodology and command words.
Mark scheme also provided
