Edexcel C.A. material (speaking and writing) on the topic of travel and tourism. Tasks have previously been approved by an Edexcel advisor for my centre but it would be advisable to get them approved yourself if using as official C.A. Would also be a good practice task.

Consolidation lesson which incorporates a listening activity / survey to practice speaking skills / storyboard activity. Starter activity worksheet also included filling in missing vowels.

Worksheet to compliment lesson of same title. This could be used as a plenary - groups of pupils try to label as many items of clothing as possible without looking in their books.

Lesson on housework. Pupils start by tryng to identify phrases in French without having previously seen the vocabulary. Listen and repeat activity to follow with lots of repetition to consolidate. Also revises expressions of time so pupils can state how often they do things to help at home. Small written task at the end followed by repetition of first activity to show pupil progression.

Common verbs conjugated in the present tense with the Spanish flag as a background. These look great when printed in colour and stuck around the classroom and can be adapted / added to as appropriate.

Series of lessons (approx 3) teaching pupils school subjects and recapping the present tense of AR verbs. Lots of consolidation to reinforce vocabulary. Incorporates a range of activities covering all four skill areas. Geared towards KS3. Based on the Viva 1 text book - all pictures and activities copied from the book have been removed for copyright purposes and replaced with the corresponding page numbers.

Lesson about chores. Includes AfL and differentiated Success Criteria. Mini whiteboard activities, group work and recap on future tense. Worksheet and speed date / quiz quiz trade activity included.

Powerpoint to introduce descriptions of personality in French. Follows on from Ma Famille. First activity you can make up your own questions based on prior lessons. Group match up activity and worksheet also included. Reading comprehension and extension writing task - could take 2 lessons.

Part of a series of KS4 lesson on jobs and part time jobs. Revises how to form the present tense in the context of describing part time job tasks. Includes lots of consolidation activities and an opportunity for written task at the end whihc could be set for homework.

Extension lesson on pets looking at how to describe them further (size / colour etc). Group work activities provided and worksheet to compliment lesson also included.

Extension lesson to follow on from introduction of school subjects. Re-caps on masculine / feminine and plural rules and looks at 1st, 2nd and 3rd person singular of the verb ESTUDIAR. The background to this is a Christmas one as this is when I taught it!

Lesson which looks at the difference between the preterite ans imperfect tenses in the context of work experience. Excellent preparation for controlled assessment. Inlcudes group task and individual activities. Worksheet to compliment.
