Year 2 Writing Narrative Where the Wild Things Are Film and Book Exemplar text to introduce children to narrative writing - called Voyage and Return. Both the film and book are used simultaneously to learn about the main character and write a narrative. Planning included teacher questioning as well as comprehension for children to access independently.
