NEW GCSE - writing checklist (foundation and higher)
This is a resource I have created to use with KS3 aiming to meet the objectives of the writing paper in the new MFL GCSE. This resource has been created after attending the get-ready-to-teach trainings from **Edexcel **and also with the help of the resources online.
Lesson 11 Dynamo 3 vert - On va jouer au foot 2
Learning objective of the lesson is: today we are talking about the future plans, in order to review the near future tense so that we can be aware of our gaps in knowledge.
Word of the day: gagner.
This lesson includes reading, listening and translation as well as a knowledge organiser with the vocabulary for the lesson.
Lesson 5 Viva 2 module 2 - qué tipo de programa prefieres
This lesson includes vocabulary and activites from Viva 2 module 2 ‘todo sobre mi vida’ together with activities based on Conti’s methodology.
Learning objective: today we are learning vocabulary about different types of TV programmes, in order to use it in sentences so that we can answer the question ‘¿qué tipo de programa prefieres?’.

This lesson includes vocabulary and activites from Viva 2 module 2 ‘todo sobre mi vida’ together with activities based on Conti’s methodology.
Learning objective: today we are learning vocabulary about different types of music, in order to use it in sentences so that we can answer the question ‘¿qué tipo de música te gusta?’.

reading: two French teenagers have been interviewed about the environment for a French magazine. Read the article and answer the questions
translation: your French friend has sent you this message. Translate it into English
reading: read the text and answer the questions in English
Lesson 4 Dynamo 3 vert module 4 - est-ce que tu manges de la viande? II
Learning objective: to discuss eating habits
This lesson includes:
knowledge organiser with vocabulary that will be used during the lesson.
revision activity on verbs/vocabulary from last lesson (je mange, je ne mange pas, je ne mange jamais)
word of the day: manger
recall: fill in the gaps in French then translate into English
reading: find all the adjectives in the text, then translate into English
-listening: listen to the discussion and write down if the person talking is in favour or against veganism. Then write down the correct letter for the reason
reading: read the articly and copy and complete the table
writing: discuss in pairs about the question ‘est-ce que tu es pour ou conter le véganisme?’ then write down an answer in French with the help of the table and the example.

reading: take into account the information about the perfect tense to find out if the verbs in the last are in the past or the present and then translate into English

Content:
Starter with basic opinion phrases (I like, I don’t like, I hate, I love, I like … very much).
Challenge starter: longer sentences with opinion phrases about things you can find in your town.
Reading activity: introducing adjectives they can use to give opinions about town (calm, pretty, clean, old, dirty, different, big, small).
