Texts are a fiction story (a version of the Ugly Duckling) and a non-fiction text about electricity. This could also be used a practice test for pupils to sit in class. The tasks are designed to help students with the wording of the questions without the burden of a difficult text.

Powerpoint presentation with video links revising the Renaissance and its impact on Medicine. Summaries of Vesalius, Harvey and Paré and analysis of factor affecting medicine at this time. Pupils complete a summary worksheet that can be printed out on A4 or A3.

Worksheet for year 4 on rounding numbers to the nearest ten, hundred and thousand. Split into 3 different levels (bronze, silver, gold) and with a deeper learning question at the end. As the silver and gold levels require rounding to the nearest ten on three-digit numbers and the nearest hundred on four-digit numbers, prior knowledge of these numbers would be helpful. This could also be used for a homework task. Each section can be cut up separately as an ink-saver. There is also an answer sheet included.
