It goes through how to calculate magnetic flux density both with current perpendicular to the magnetic field as well as at an angle (sin θ). It also shows how to measure magnetic flux density as well as taking students through a worked example of the practical results. This is a complete lesson covering sections 5.2.1 d, e and f of the OCR Biology specification- the light dependent and light independent reactions (Calvin cycle). It starts by looking at photophosphorylation in general before the specifics of cyclic and non-cyclic versions and photolysis of water. It goes through a diagram offering students the chance to construct a Z scheme. There are then some summary questions before the light independent stage. It the covers the Calvin cycle including the number of turns required to make a sugar. The lesson closes by looking at how other products are made by the plant and finished with a couple of exam questions. It starts by looking at the way that objects produce electromagnetic radiation and the link to temperature. It then looks at Wien’s displacement law and Stefan’s law including calculations and comparisons of luminosity and temperature. It then move son to look at spectra and how electrons produce photons of light after being excited. It then closes by looking at the difference between emission and absorption spectrum and how they can be sued to analyse stars. It then looks at new beginnings and offers some examples (e.g. new school year) The assembly then looks at the challenges involved in a new beginning and how they can be overcome. There are then three examples of people who have faced and overcome a new beginning- Serena Williams, Maya Angelou and Benjamin Pritchard The assembly closes with some final thoughts about the inevitability of change and how to grab it The final slide is a quote from Doc Brown from Back to the Future regarding how the future isn’t written yet
