A simple 1 hour test comprising of multiple choice, longer responses, data handling (graph plotting and calculations) and reading and comprehension activities. It is editable so you can change it for your needs. Progressively more challenging, from simple responses, to short answers, to open questions. I have included a short reading and comprehension section to support my EFL candidates.

This is a simple writing frame that I use to get pupils STARTED on the Personal Statement. I find getting them going to be the hardest point- once they have stuff I can work with it, but frequently they don't get going (or bibble on about their passion and their character-developing Peruvian-nose-flute voluntourist trips to the amazon; frankly, that's just tedious- less passion, more penetration please). I made this to accompany our NOVA data-logger in EKG mode but works with smartphone apps and other dataloggers. Can be used as a starter or plenary of the ECG. This is a set of flashcards written to cover cardiac activity. It can be differentiated by task- stronger pupils can have a stretch and challenge set, weaker pupils can have just the basics. Used as a plenary or a starter. Good for pupils preparing for interview, or as Revision activity for year 1 medics. I use it as private tutoring material for a medic, and with sixth formers.

Flashcard activity to revise/ learn the sources of various vitamins, whether they are fat soluble, or water soluble vitamins, and deficiency diseases caused by lack of these vitamins. I run it as a matching pairs activity, then a sequencing activity where the pupils match the source to the vitamin, then group the effects of under-consumption together.

Covers the basics of embolism formation and cardiac infarction. I use this as a starter/ plenary as matching pairs and/or flashcards (same resource lends itself to both). Can be edited by user depending on level. Can be used in Sixth form biology, PSHE or Sports science lessons. Used with year 1 medic for exams- also good for sports and exercise science

This is a revision activity that follows on from my other Heart Health/disease flashcards (available as a massive bundle). I use it as flashcards/ matching pairs, but can be used for sequencing. Covers the causes of arrhythmias. Post 16/ pre-university grade. Editable. I wrote it to stretch and challenge good sixth formers, but later added to it to Private Tutor year 1 Medical students - can also be good for sports and health scientists.

Rate of change of momentum investigated through the medium of lego. And hard boiled eggs. For goodness sake, make sure they are HARD boiled. Use of ICT in lessons. I did this as a video lesson and the camera man was getting all wobbly at using his flashiest kit. Works just as well with an iPhone (my footage was shot on iPhone) the better stuff made by the kids (not uploaded here because the files are huge), was on a Go pro hero 4- in high speed mode- other action cameras are available. What is the difference between Physics and Titting about? Accurate measurements. Try it.,
