How to add custom learning plan fields

This guide will explain how to add custom learning plan fields.

 

Provision Map allows you to add additional fields to your learning plans. To add a custom learning plan fields, mouse over the Admin tab at the top of the page and select School settings from the drop down menu.

Next, either scroll down to the Custom learning plan fields section or click on the Custom learning plan fields option in the navigation menu to the left.

You will see a list of existing custom learning plan fields. Click on the Add field button to create a new learning plan field.

This will bring up a pop up dialog that asks you to name the new field. If you have set up aspects in SIMS to pull across to Provision Map, you can click on the text field to select the aspect from the drop down menu.

You also have the option of making the field a default field. Default fields will appear on every newly created plan, where as regular plan fields must be added manually for each plan.

Once you have finished setting up your custom learning plan field, click on the OK to add it to the list.

You can use the Edit button to change the custom learning plan field’s name and default status, and the Remove button to delete the field.

If the custom learning plan field was set up as a default plan field, it will automatically be added to new learning plans under the Assess section. If the field was not set to default, you can manually add the field by using the Add field drop down menu.
