When adding a file to a pupil’s profile or a plan, you can restrict access to to only selected members of staff. To upload a file confidentially, click on the button labelled Upload a confidential file.
You will be asked to choose which file to upload. Select your chosen file from the file selector popup and it will appear within the Files section.
To choose who will be able to see the file, click on the person icon next to the uploaded file.
In the resulting pop up, click on the Add more button to begin searching for staff members who will be given access to the file. Users with the School Admin role will automatically be granted access, but you can add additional staff members by clicking on the Share button next to their name. To remove access to the file, click on the Remove button for a user underneath the Shared with heading.
If a user doesn’t have the permission to view confidential documents or hasn’t been given access to the confidential provision, they will be unable to see the confidential file in the list of uploaded files.
