The lesson introduces the reasons why, discussing some of the conditions that had resulted from the Industrial Revolution and the Duke's refusal to help enlarge the electorate through a reform act. This then moves on to children, in groups, recreating an iconic image of the castle on fire before finishing the lesson by joining pieces together and seeing what happened next with the castle.
