Adapted using symbol sentences for SEND students/students who cannot read independently. Contains 2 powerpoints and around 5-6 worksheets/activities surrounding place value and ordering numbers in a variety of contexts (2 of which include planning cooking times and calculating who wins a race). Number cards can be made and used with clothes lines/pegs to aid in engagement. Originally pitched to 14-18 year old SEND students.

6 PowerPoints and 5 Sets of activities for various science experiments. These include: Skittle experiment (dissolving sugar) Gummybear Osmosis Making your own ice cream CO2 reaction in a glove mixing colours (colour theory) raisins in different liquids. Powerpoints and worksheets include Widgit/symbol Sentences to support those who cannot read independently. Some experiments are more focused on recording their findings and separating mixtures.

Materials and PowerPoint included with worksheets that will hit all areas of E2.1 : Demonstrating an awareness of how to work with other in appropriate ways 2.1.1 setting ground rules. 2.1.2 Relate basic information about the work being carried out. 2.1.3 Identify their role in a group. Focus was on working with a friend to wash dishes (one washing, the other drying). Symbol boards added to aid in completing worksheets. The other learning objectives can be completed in a witness statement. Evidence can also be used to achieve ASDAN Entry level 2 PSD unit.

Adapted for SEND students (aged 14-19) using images and symbol sentences. Contains worksheets surrounding fixing a remote (completing both of these these will fullfill the ASDAN unit’s learning objectives). There is also 3-4 activities surrounding conflict resolution with scenario based problem solving. These have all been adapted to suit need.

Powerpoint and worksheets adapted with symbols and symbol sentences to support SEND students. Activities and PowerPoint involve ordering days of the week and months of the year. The worksheets also include answering questions about various calenders (e.g. finding events on the calendar and writing their date/time, or recognising if someone is free on a certain day).

Symbol sentence worksheets (and 3 PowerPoints) surrounding ordering events from the book, identifying what we like/dislike about characters, creating story mountains (for 2 events in the story) and a book review.

Work adapted with symbol sentences to support SEND students. Worksheets and PowerPoints detailing steps to Welt Felting and the planning process involved (what will students add to their landscape? What colours?). Students will also evaluate known British textile artists and their work - before evaluating their own.

Files are adapted with symbol sentences. Lessons include recognising parts of a letter and writing their own from Albus D. There are also images, PowerPoints and Worksheets that include sharing their views on a character and creating a magical creature report. Resources and Powerpoints scaffolded for SEND students (originally pitched for 14-18 aged SEND pupils).

3-4 activities/lessons included: Lesson initialliy for SEND students aged 14-18. PowerPoints detailing some examples of adjectives, verbs, then adverbs - with some questions for students and links to BBC Bitesize videos - sentences written with Widgit software for students with SEND or those who cannot read independently. Materials and worksheets to support achieving OCR D8 - adapted with symbols for SEND students. 1.1 Identify at least three hygiene procedures before handling food . 2.1 Identify tinned, fresh and frozen foods. 2.2 State where and how each would be stored. 3.2 Identify two types of appearance to know that food is still fresh. 3.3 Identify a food that may not be safe to use/has “gone off”.

Worksheets and PowerPoint adapted with symbol sentences for SEND students. Two PowerPoints recapping halving and quartering with another PowerPoint containing a quiz around finding a third, fifth or tenth of shapes. Worksheets (8-10 in total) contain activities encouraging students to find the fractions of shapes and of arrays.
