This resource includes a 174 slide ppt presentation I prepared to teach the new Edexcel International GCSE 9-1 for my Year 4 group. As the textbook isn’t great, I created many extra resources to combine with working on the textbook. What’s included: resources for Unit 1: Everyday life at home and school, which at the same time includes activities for section: 1A House and Home --> 1A.1 Donde vivo yo; 1A.2 Esta es mi casa; 1A.3 Que haces en casa; 1A.4 Las habitaciones de mi casa. It comes with two extra reading activities I made up to extend my students, two versions of vocabulary tests to be done at the end of every-subsection, and overall a good range of activities that train the 4 skills, and grammar. There are writing activities that match Q6 and Q7 from the specification as well. There is at least 1 grammar question resembling the grammar paper in the spec, too. Listening activities usually bring answers and transcripts to be displayed. I have also attached the list of vocabulary provided by the textbook for the Unit 1 Everyday life at home and school, corresponding to sections 1A to 1D, ALREADY FILLED IN WITH THE TRANSLATIONS for students to use as revision if you dont want to spend time from the lesson/homework to get them to write them down. This resource covers unit 5.1 from the Stimmt 2 textbook ‘Ich mag meinen Stil’, dealing with clothes and adjective agreements in the accusative case. 48 slides with vocabulary and exercises following closely pages 98 and 99 from the textbook including some additions to it. NOTE: look at the bottom of the slides (not in presentation mode) as sometimes there are instructions on what to do in each activity.

Ppt presentation I created to teach the present continuous for KS4 students, however it can be easily adapted to any ability group due to the nature of the activities. it provides an explanation of what it is (uses), time indicators, formation (endings) and main irregular forms. It then includes 5 different activities: 2 controlled practice activities (translation); 2 guided practice activities (building sentences from an image and sentence completion (differentiated) and 1 freer practice activity (students to think creatively and build sentences using the present continuous based on stimuli dice; it allows them to produce different outcomes, as it’s an open-ended activity). Answers, where applicable, are included.

A ppt which covers the relevant language to teach Module 1.4 '¿Cómo te fue?’ from the Viva 2 textbook. You will find vocabulary for students to be able to say how their holiday was using both ‘lo pasé’ and ‘fue’ with a range of adjectives and subsequent reasons to justify these opinions. This is the last sub-unit within Module 1, so it will build on previous knowledge. Ppt contains vocab sheets if you print these for your students, as well as 11 starter / plenary / exam revision activities practising 2 tenses and all skills. You will find plenty of vocabulary for students to be able to give opinions on stuff they like and dislike and why (to stretch high attainers), adding recycled language from previous years (free-time activities) on top of what the textbook offers. A 90-slide ppt which covers the relevant language to teach Module 4.2 Lo siento, no puedo from the Viva 2 textbook. You will find plenty of vocabulary for students to be able to reject a plan using a range of excuses, as well as to be able to propose a plan in detail, adding where to meet and at what time. This topic really is a continuation of Module 4.1 Te gustaria ir al cine? which touches up on accepting and rejecting plan. This resource is also available on my shop. Ppt contains vocab sheets if you print these for your ss; a vocab test and ideas to put all skills into practice, as well as a number of starter activities at the end of the ppt presentation. A very simple lesson containing 5 mini-activities to do in pairs based around 2 TV guides to exploit this type of authentic text. It’s highly based on the textbook but extending it. It also includes a British TV guide example to work on speaking. As this is done towards the end of the module, I’ve included 2 noughts and crosses sheets for students to do in pairs and thus review vocabulary from module 2.3 Prefiero las comedias. PPT contains a total of 8 slides (1 of them being the answer sheet to the noughts and crosses game).

A resource for pupils taking the Edexcel Spanish IGCSE 9-1 exam to train their grammar skills so that they can tackle the 10-point question with confidence and success. A grammar exercise (30 in total) per every single textbook topic (30 topics in total), covering the grammar points that come up in each topic. Answers at the end of the booklet. Includes 2 practice tests (non-topic related), with answers too. 32 exercises in total, answers at the end of the document. Perfect revision resource to do with year 11s before they go on study leave.

competitive reading activity called question trails to make reading more fun. This question trails exercise is based on AQA AS Spanish textbook page 34, text called “Hasta los 14 no deberian tener movil”. Activity took 2 hours to create but it was well worth it - students worked in pairs and had fun trying to complete the activity first. Rewards can be given for extra motivation. As students will have to read the text carefully, the whole activity will easily take at least 30 minutes to carry out. All instructions and handouts required inside of pack. Answers included too. A different and fun way to get students reading for detail without complaining!

A worksheet to cover 1/2 lessons on the extension topic within Unit 4 'Klassenreisen machen Spass", based on pages 86 and 87 from stimmt 2 textbook. Some of the activities have been taken from these 2 pages, and some have been made up. Objectives: - To review separable and reflexive verbs. - To review the perfect tense. - To use separable and reflexive verbs in the perfect tense. The perfect task to be set for remote learning or cover work.

A lesson I created for my AS group to be able to give in favour / against arguments based on new technologies. Its quite of an interactive lesson, with 2 different speaking activities, a reading, a matching and a grammar activity. It also comes with a lesson plan.
