It starts with a recap of what verbs are and a reminder of how to conjugate - especially “wohnen”. It then introduces types of houses (“Einfamilienhaus”, “Reihenhaus” etc.) followed by areas you can live in (“an der Küste”, “auf dem Land” etc.). There is a listening exercise to practise this, before some short translations. There is a “True or False” activity and students should correct the false sentences, and the a little information on the Dative Case. It then reminds students about inversion (after “In meinem Zimmer…”) and then introduces 13 words for bedroom furniture (e.g. “ein Regal”, “ein Bett”, “einen Stuhl” etc.). There is a quick listening activity to put the furniture in order and then a reminder about using “kein” properly and another listening activity to write out the furniture words that students hear.
