The Core Practical itself is not covered (Edexcel supply work-sheets and a lab-book for this that I cannot reproduce), though the titrations lesson covers the background learning needed for it. These PowerPoints and worksheets will allow you to teach HIGHER TIER ONLY GCSE Chemistry content on Moles. This lesson introduces the concept of a mole in terms of Avogadro’s number, exemplifies how to calculate the number of moles from mass of a substance and vice versa, and shows how to use moles to calculate numbers of particles of a substance **There are two versions of this lesson and worksheet provided.
