This resource contains training manuals and associated files that are suitable for new Excel users and those that want a refresher. It contains information on basic spreadsheet setup, basic formula, creating charts, formatting and much more. Included within the workbook are instructions, a crossword for Excel Vocabulary and exercises. This is a 38 page workbook.
The step by step training manual has exercises that students can bring up on their computer to easily practice the skills demonstrated. It can be run as a workshop or stand alone resource to work through individually. A sample file has now been included for students to work through in Excel format. A full list of shortcut keys is also included at the back of the workbook.
Files are provided in both pdf and word format for editing.

This resource is for those that are new to Microsoft Excel and want to quickly learn and practice using calculations in Excel. The spreadsheet has a number of different sheets within it that have clear instructions and practice exercises to use for yourself or your learners to quickly master basic concepts.
I have used this to teach students and workplace learners with much success.
Covers addition, subtraction, multiplication and division on sheet 1. Sheet 2 has Autosum and subsequent sheets practice using these with common spreadsheets such as invoices and profit and loss scenarios. Simply give learners a copy of this spreadsheet and work through together or let them try by themselves.

The great thing about learning shortcuts is that they don't change with versions. And of course you don't have to grab the mouse, you can get everything done without the use of the mouse which saves you time and increases productivity.

Email is the most common form of communication in the workplace and it is important to get it right. The Resource contains an e-book that contains six critical steps to ensuring your email is delivered to the recipient in a professional manner. Canva is an excellent, free, design tool that can save you time and money. It makes sense to use this instead of paying for expensive designers. This resource comes in PPT form and a pdf. The PPT is 27 slides.
This training PowerPoint and PDF is a basic step by step guide to get you started. A Facebook post is created for the purposes of an example, however, the skills learnt can be applied to other promotional documents such as Covers, brochures, posters, instagram posts, twitter posts, etc.

This resource is a step by step training manual with screen shots and exercises for learners to complete. Attached are exercises to complete. There is also a short cut keys summary at the back of the manual that is really handy to print out and keep by the computer for easy reference.
This resource has been developed as a practice Exercise for learners who have been introduced to Pivot Tables in Excel.
It is a practical task that can be undertaken in teams, pairs or individually. It includes a set of data that needs to be analysed. Learners are required to brainstorm questions that a Sales Manager would need to know about the transactional data. They then create pivot tables based on the questions.
There is a second spreadsheet that contains 8 sample questions and pivot tables that relate to the questions.
This activity has been well received in my classroom of adult learners. They become very engaged in the process and develop a better understanding of the use of pivot tables.

Solution:
The logo is created in Canva.
Once created and saved, we use a separate website to make the white background transparent.
