Powerpoint in German to introduce pets.

Pupils are put into groups and are given the first 4 questions. They must find the answers to all four questions before they get given the next set. Works well as a running dictation style activity where the texts are stuck on the wall outside the classroom and team members take it in turns to go out and find the answers. Feel free to amend, adapt or correct this free resource!

Reading comprehension to compliment lesson of same title.

Comprehensive food and drink vocabulary challenge to compliment lessons on mealtimes. Can be done as a paired or group activity. In pairs each pupil has a sheet and has 5 minutes to try and translate as many items as possible, after 5 minutes they swap papers and have another 5 minutes. Or divide class into small groups and give each group a pack of post-it notes. They then have to translate as many items of food and drink as possible (without a dictionary) writing each item on a post-it and sticking them to the desk.

Worksheet on modes of transport. Pupils label the pictures in Spanish. Also includes all parts of the verb IR in present tense.

Grid of countries and nationalities in French and English for pupils to match up by colour-coding the pairs. Could be adapted so pupils colour code groups (countries and nationalities in both French and English).
