Specifically developed for the new GCSE AQA specification All tenses have a step by step explanation with an example, at least 1 practise activity and then answers in red on a separate duplicate slide. Booklet is divided into 2 principal sections - basic grammar and grade 7+ I have covered a range of grammar from different topics including local area, environment, family, healthy living etc. Tenses/ grammar covered: Present(I do) / present perfect (I have done) Past (preterite (I did) and imperfect (I used to)) Future (simple (I’m going to) and proper ‘I will’) Conditional (I would do) Si clauses + conditional (If I… I would…) Higher level sentence structure higher level phrases/ idioms I have used this with 3 mixed ability year 10 groups and it has been very successful.

Suitable for all ks3 and even foundation at ks4 I regularly adapt this resource to help teach lesson structure to students who struggle when developing answers. Includes help on sentence structure but also 'easy' formulas for conditional tense, present, future and past to improve grades.

I have done this primarily with A level but have also taught it to some MA students for GCSE. the resource works really well because it encourages them to conjugate a range of vocabulary in all perfect tenses and allows students to work in their books but also orally due to the competitive sections of the lesson.
